Vacationing in northern Wisconsin is made all that much easier by its location.  Each of the four  communities are within 15 minutes of each other; and our location from the large towns in the area makes our Northwoods a frequent get-away.  Located 275 miles from Minneapolis, 380 miles from Chicago, 300 miles from Milwaukee, and just 210 miles from Madison, we are conveniently less than a day's drive away. 

The area is surrounded by the Ottawa National Forest, hundreds of pristine lakes and streams for all types of fishing, thousands of acres of public lands open for hunting, Porcupine Mountain State Park, the Sylvania Wilderness Tract, downhill and cross-country ski trails, hundreds of miles of snowmobile and hiking trails, both paved and rugged biking trails and all the wildlife that nature has saved for "Wisconsin's Last Wilderness."

Each community has a friendly feel and just the amenities needed for a vacation away -- coffee shops, gift shops, grocery stores, flower shops, tackle and bait stores, convenience marts, local pubs and restaurants, and wonderful community libraries with great movie selections and internet access available.
